Fish Hooks is an animated teenage "coming of age" series from the Disney Channel aimed at the adolescent viewers. Created and co-produced by children's book illustrator Noah Z. Jones, Fish Hooks attempts to tackle the day-to-day experiences of the typical teenager with one notable difference; the "teenagers" are fish.
The series revolves around three teenage fish; Milo, his half-brother Oscar and their goldfish friend, Bea. The three live in an aquarium located in a pet store where they attend Freshwater High School and deal with the issues any normal teenager deals with. From relationships to sports, crushes to driver's tests, acne to dating, the three friends discover some new challenge each day in their underwater world.
Supplying the voices of the three "stars" are Kyle Massey as Milo, Justin Roiland as Oscar and Chelsea Staub as Bea. All three actors are regular Disney contributors. Notable performers in recurring roles include Richard Simmons and Edie McClurg.
