Handy Manny is a Disney Channel television program that follows the adventures of a man named Manny Garcia. Manny is a Hispanic handyman who possesses a set of tools that act and talk like humans. The goal of this show is to teach young children some of the basics of the Spanish language and teaches them why cultural diversity is so important. Most of the episodes are 30 minutes long and contain two different stories per episode. The story takes place in a town known as "Sheetrock Hills" and Manny owns a repair shop there. The tools help him do more than to simply fix things. They will answer the phone and do all other sorts of amusing tasks. This is an interesting and educational show for children that throws a lot of humor into the mix.
