Hannah Montana is a Disney channel original series that made it's debut in March of 2006. The plot focuses on a young girl named Miley Stewart who is just an average teenage girl by day and a famous pop singer (Hannah Montana) by night. She conceals her identity as Hannah Montana from everyone except her family and her closest friends. This television series has became extremely popular and was even nominated for a Prime-time Emmy Award. There was also a movie released based on this series called "Hannah Montana: The Movie". The show ends on it's fourth and final season. The actor who plays Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, has become a successful pop singer in real life as well. She has two successful studio albums to date as a result of the show.
