Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 is the sequel to the 2008 namesake hit from Disney, and continues the tale of the now-married Papi (voiced by George Lopez, as in the original) and Chloe. The pair now have five puppies, and the film follows the adventures (and mis-adventures) of this canine crew.
On a visit to his parents' home, Sam, Papi's owner, learns that his family is on the brink of losing their house to foreclosure. While reading the newspaper, Chloe hatches a plan to enter the talented puppies into a dog show, hopefully winning the cash prize, saving the house. Unfortunately, their plans are sabotaged by an unscrupulous French poodle. Desperate, the family is forced to enlist the assistance of some familiar friends from the original, German Shepherd Delgado and his running-mate, the smooth-as-silk Pedro, who cleverly save the day.
