Movie Description
Adapted from the Disney Channel Original series, The Even Stevens Movie is a family adventure-comedy starring Shia LeBeouf, Christy Carlson Romano, Donna Pescow, Tom Virtue and Tim Meadows. Meadows, probably better known for his long-running stint on Saturday Night Live, is one of the few cast members not associated with the Even Stevens television series.
One part Gilligan's Island, one part Survivor, and one part Punk'd, Even Stevens follows the misadventures of the Stevens family from Sacramento as they fall victim to a fast-talking travel agent (Meadows) and wind up on an isolated Pacific island as unwitting participants in a reality-type television program. Mixups by the boatload ensue as the family struggles to survive, at one point even splitting into two separate groups, each attempting to sabotage the others' chances.
Sean McNamara, a veteran of various "tween" productions for Nickleodeon, the Cartoon Network and the Disney Channel, directed and co-produced.
