Movie Description
The unlikely, yet lovable trio of Shadow, Sassy and Chance return in the sequel to Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey in Walt Disney Pictures' live-action comedy-adventure film, Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco. Sally Field (Sassy) and Michael J. Fox (Chance) reprise their speaking roles from the original, while Ralph Waite takes over the voice of Shadow from the late Don Ameche.
On a family trip to Canada, the three escape while at San Francisco Airport and have to try to find their way home. Along the way, they encounter all manner of confrontations with some of the local animals, who object to their presence on their "turf." However, the trio also meet up with some local "friendly" critters, who assist them in their quest.
David R. Ellis made his feature film directorial debut on Lost in San Francisco, going on to direct such films Final Destination and Snakes On A Plane.
