The real world clashes with the virtual world when scorned video game programmer Kevin Flynn is pulled into the land of gladiators as punishment for attempting to hack into the system. Defending his honor and the fruits of his labor quickly turn into defending his life as his enemies in the virtual world decide to eliminate him completely. Kevin's only hope is befriending and outmaneuvering the security defense system, Tron.
