Down-on-his-luck Cowboy Kelly and his sidekick David Jacobs decide to take a stand when a price increase threatens to devastate their already struggling newspaper careers.  Despite the struggle to survive, the desire to find success wherever they can find it proves to be a powerful motivator for the boys who take on some powerful enemies.
